ETS' Credit+ HIRE Act Administration

ETS administers 2010 HIRE Act

IT'S NOT TOO LATE!

2010 HIRE ACT CREDITS STILL AVAILABLE FOR RECOVERY!

ETS is performing "retrospective" evaluation and administration of the 2010 HIRE Act credit for employers who were unable to take advantage of this valuable credit in 2010.  We are bringing tens to hundreds of thousands of dollars in  credits and refunds to clients who are proceeding with this retrospective credit program, and we are doing it with minimal investment of time on their part.

Key points about the HIRE Act legislation:

In March of 2010, the Federal HIRE Act was enacted to attack record levels of unemployment across the country. ETS is assisting our clients (of all sizes) to meet the statutory and compliance requirements for proper qualification and eligibility for this new tax incentive.

  • The HIRE Act incentivizes employers to hire unemployed workers.
  • The Act provides a "2-in-1" tax advantage to employers by providing relief on the employer-side portion of a new hire's Social Security Wages with a Tax Exemption, and an Income Tax Credit for workers employed for at least 52 consecutive weeks.
  • Payroll tax relief for eligible employers occurs at every payroll period, as well as at time of filing 2010 taxes.
  • There is no cap on the total tax benefits that can be claimed by an employer.

ETS is ready to administer the HIRE Act on behalf of your organization and can perform the following:

  • Employer new hire pre-qualification and screening through our dedicated call center.
  • Target list development for retrospective pre-screening of hires prior to initiation.
  • Document storage/retention through ETS' secure Plus Platform.
  • Audit preparation.
  • Monitor and report program compliance.
  • Report and eligibility notification.
  • Budget forecasting.
  • Employer new hire certification and W-11 affidavits.
  • Calculate your income tax retention credit and tax exemption.
