Unemployment Claims Analyst - Entry Level
Job Description:
Summary: An entry-level position for an individual with general office administrative experience, who will perform general office duties while training to become a full time UI claims analyst. The job will require general reception duties such as answering telephones, collecting and distributing mail, perform general office duties/support. The training will run concurrently with other duties and establish knowledge of the UI system and handling of claims. A UI claims analyst is the primary client contact that is responsible for gathering separation information, investigating claims, and responding to state agencies unemployment claims correspondence within state-issued deadlines. The immediate goal is to establish a position that will ultimately be a twofold position of both receptionist and part-time UI Claim Analyst. The ultimate objective is to develop the individual into a full time UI Claims Analyst, once a foundation of claims experience has been established.
